    Ooh Kristen - that is such a great idea! I do loves me some kale! Yes, fun how quickly we can take on a habit. I'd much rather be craving a green goddess smoothie than my box-o-wine.

    Well, in my experience, adding a depressant like alcohol to my already depressed brain chemistry just amplifies my blahs. And I recently read a study that increasing water intake is critical for naturally beating a whole host of bodily and mental health issues. So I say, TRY IT. Give it a few weeks and see how you feel. Make sure you get out into the sun for about 15 minutes a day too. Natural vitamin D that your body produces from sunshine is also helpful for treating depression.
