BIO
My bio, at present, is mostly filled with wedding plans. I eat, sleep and breathe wedding. I often wake up in the night and make notes. My fiance thinks I'm crazy but luckily the wedding is still on.
I wrote my first poem when I was about 8 years old. It was about a snowman. I wasn't a child genius, the snowman didn't represent the fragility of life, I just liked building things with snow. I still write about the things that are important to me but these days snowmen are much lower down the list of priorities.
I have just completed a short story. My fiance read it and thought it was chapter one. I decided to take that as a compliment.
I write two blogs, one that tracks our eco-wedding plans and one that tracks the twists and turns of my life. The wedding plan blog has rather overtaken the other one (which represents real-life, see paragraph one of my bio).
I'm soon-to-be the proud owner of a Degree (unless the Open University changes their mind about me). In fact I have been studying for various qualifications since 1998. I'm a bit mad that way.
Alongside writing, studying, helping my other half with his Web Design business and wedding planning, I work in local government.
