Wanna be a Powder Room Blogger/Vlogger?

We're looking for a fresh new voice to add to our select little stable of fab female bloggers/vloggers - and it could be you!

Are you already blogging or vlogging but want to reach a larger audience? Do you have a captivating, challenging or unusual life you'd like to share with our readers In the Powder Room. If so we want to hear from YOU.

All you need to do is make sure that you are a member of In the Powder Room. (If you are not a member, you will be prompted to join when you enter the contest). Then send us a sample blog post or a link to an existing blog/vlog to submissions@inthepowderroom.com and 500 words (written or recorded) on why you should be our next blogger/vlogger. We'll whittle a shortlist down to six of the very best entries. Then we'll be handing it over to our users to choose who they want to hear from every week.

You'll "win" the spot of permanent Powder Room blogger/vlogger posting your thoughts to gazillions of women every week for which you'll also be paid a small sum ($15 or £10 per 300-500 word post) - but hey, we know it's not about the money right?! Oh and you'll also win a snazzy HD Flip Camera for good measure. It sounds almost too good to be true. The shortlist of the six best entries will be announced June 1st with the lucky winner finding out on July 1st.

The rules are that there are no rules. OK, that's not really true but the rules are very simple and straight forward. In order to enter you need to be a member of the site. If you are not a member, you will be prompted to Join when you try and enter. This is so we have your name and can get in touch with you when we need to contact you. The blogs or vlogs need to be in English and the contest is open to everyone, men and women, but trust us when we say creativity and uniqueness of perspective count. Other than that, just have fun and send us a sample blog post or a link to an existing blog/vlog to submissions@inthepowderroom.com and 500 words (written or recorded) on why you should be our next blogger/vlogger.
