I have no problem with films that are adapted from books and are slightly or substantially modified in order to fit the big screen (this year’s The Prestige is a prime example). However when it comes to religiously historical movies, particularly those centered around the Bible, I have a real precaution when changes are made in order to make the story more “relatable” to the audience.

Howdy homies! First and foremost I want to make it clear that I am the biggest time travel fiction geek who ever walked the planet and was not even somewhat interested in this film until I learned it revolved around the idea. Personally I believe it was marketed rather poorly in not even remotely perceiving it to be as interesting or intense as it actually is. That being said, I loved it!
